Hummingbirds in Canada

Five species of hummingbirds may be observed in Canada, two more frequently: the Ruby-throated Hummingbird in the East and the Rufous Hummingbird in the West. The Black-chinned Hummingbird and the Calliope Hummingbird nest in rare locations in the mountains of the West. The Anna's Hummingbird is sometimes found on the southern coast of British Columbia.
